Community in the not so Post-Covid Era.
Our lives, our daily routines and our communities have been massively affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. We've had to make a lot of readjustments in order to reshape our lives into the new mold. The picture of our lives today looks worlds apart from what many of us presumed or expected. However, the clock never stopped ticking. We all got one year older 😂 and here we are in a new year.
The status quo demands us to stay apart at a time when we all need each other. That’s why it is important now, more than ever, to strengthen our communities and networks. Luckily for us, the technological advances of the 21st century can help us keep afloat and preserve relationships. In fact, it is now possible to maintain a community lifestyle with little to no physical contact. Here are a few ways in which we can all contribute to strengthening the BaseCamp community.
1. Request to be added to our WhatsApp group
Our #HumansOfBaseCamp group helps facilitate enquiries as well as sharing relevant content and banter. Beyond that, it's a great platform to outsource freelance services and get clients.
2. Pay us a visit at our new Camp in East Legon
We're still in the middle of a pandemic so we're taking the necessary precautions and observing all covid 19 protocols. Don't forget your face mask!
3. Check out and engage with us on our social media pages
We're on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter as BaseCampInitiative. Connect with us there and join the tribe!
The bond that we nourish in these difficult times is the one that will stand the test of time. We're looking forward to interacting with you on all these platforms and in person from time to time.
